Because cow’s milk and the products made from it slimy and thus promote diseases in the ear, nose and throat area. At least that’s what Traditional Chinese Medicine says. However, there are no studies to support this claim. For example, it was investigated whether the consumption of cow’s milk has a negative effect on asthma in children and adults. The result: it doesn’t. In another study, a group was given cow’s milk. The other got soy milk. All participants previously claimed to be slimy after consuming cow’s milk. The participants did not know what to drink. And ultimately, there was no difference between the cow and soy milk groups in terms of mucilage.

Green smoothies promote health

Hardly anything as healthy as green smoothies. Because they contain so many vitamins. And they are also rich in the green plant substance chlorophyll. The only problem is: there is not a single study that proves this highly positive effect of the green mixed drink. And the mere fact that it is rich in vitamins does not make it a health hit, most Austrians get enough vitamins and minerals through their normal diet anyway. The positive effect of chlorophyll on human health has also not yet been proven. On the contrary: According to the VKI, there has been a study to date that has dealt with this topic. And according to this, the green plant matter has no effect.

Sleepy, really stressed in the morning and then not caught all day – who doesn’t know that?https://123helpme.me/ The way you get up creates the basis on which the next few hours will build. You can only start the day relaxed if you have a solid foundation. We tell you what to look out for.

On vacation it happens automatically: you get up well rested, go to the breakfast buffet stress-free, read or chat without time pressure during the first meal of the day – and so unconsciously get yourself in the right mood for the rest of the day. Something similar often works out on the weekend too: If you don’t have any early plans, you can start the day on Sunday with a lot of nerves.

It looks very different on days when you go to work. Time pressure, with thoughts already at work and often too late – there isn’t much time to concentrate on the positive. However, it is also clear that with such a negative start to the day we are not setting a positive tone for the following hours. The devil of the matter: The days when duty calls are clearly in the majority.

In theory, of course, we all know how it should be. When it is time to go to bed, get up in the morning with a swing (in time!), Run a lap, mix a healthy smoothie, cycle to the office with vigor. Yes, yes, eh … But we are not just perfect advertising figures or lifestyle model types.

Nevertheless, it pays to take a closer look at your morning rituals and to consciously change some of them – even if it’s just a little bit or a single point from the list below. After all, there is enormous potential for improvement in this comparatively short period of time.

1. The snooze button is taboo

The basic principle of the snooze button is gorgeous. It gives you the opportunity to push back the seriousness of life, uh, of the day by a few minutes. The problem: you can press it again and again. And spend wonderful time with it. Maybe fall asleep again.

Let’s be honest: it doesn’t make getting up any more pleasant. Procrastination rarely makes things better. So stay away from the snooze button. Don’t even flirt with him in your mind! He is one of the biggest time wasters in the morning!

Better alternative: Let yourself be woken up by a favorite song. Ideally, the song starts out relaxed and then becomes more lively over time. Your alarm device may also have a function that gradually increases the volume of the song. When the piece is over after 3 to 4 minutes, it’s time to get up! Not resist talking! Sounds tough, but it just takes a little practice.

2. Check out Instagram until emails? Oh no!

Wake up, reach out to the side, grab your smartphone and enjoy a round of Facebook, Instagram Co. to be in order. This process is part of the morning wake-up ritual for countless people. It’s also true: while lying down, you can still surf around comfortably and wrapped in bed warmth. But you are still doing yourself no good.

Going online in the morning is, on the one hand, a guarantee that you are wasting too much time and, on the other hand, not particularly good for your mood. Exposing yourself to the outside world in the second after waking up takes away the opportunity to start the day in a self-conscious manner. Immediately you read a reminder email, received information about another attack or saw that your colleague had already run a lap in record time an hour ago. Doesn’t have to be everything!

It is better not to have your smartphone within easy reach – this is also good for the quality of sleep, because, among other things, potentially disruptive light sources are bypassed. After waking up (for example while listening to your good morning song), stretch consciously and intensely and postpone checking emails and Instagram surfing to the subway or the office.

3. Have a dress plan – and several jokers

One of the biggest pitfalls in the morning is choosing clothes. How often have we all stood in front of the box and suddenly had the feeling that we had nothing left to wear? After ten outfit variations you run out of the apartment much too late and are certainly not really happy with what you are wearing. What a stress factor!

via GIPHY

You don’t have to go so far that you lay out your clothes the night before (completely honest). But it helps to have already thought about what you want to wear. The best trick to avoid the stress in front of the closet: have five emergency outfits in mind that always go. If you realize in the morning that you don’t feel like the styling idea from the previous evening, that you overslept or that you notice that the planned item is still in the wash, you will be grateful for these standard combinations in which you feel comfortable and that don’t cost you any extra time.

4. Avoid a tight schedule

Imagine the following scenario: you get up, stress yourself through the morning – and suddenly discover that your alarm clock was defective and you are an hour too EARLY! Suddenly the great relief that you have time and can do your things in a relaxed manner. Feels good, doesn’t it?

Many try to take advantage of every possible second of sleep and as a result set themselves a completely unrealistic schedule. Have a quiet shower, talk to the family or just stare out the window with coffee in hand? Impossible!

via GIPHY

The fact is, however: not a single extra minute of sleep is worth the stress you expose yourself to in the morning. So it’s better to look realistically how long you need (relaxed!) In the morning, what you would like to have time for and how much buffer you might need. The optimal time to get up depends on this. And not after when you went to sleep the night before!

5. Don’t digress in the shower!

One of the worst energy guzzlers is brooding in the shower. Go in for a moment. Do you remember your morning shower? In detail? Most of them can’t because their minds were elsewhere. Already in the office, when answering an e-mail or thinking about the ticking clock because you got up too late.

via GIPHY

Get used to the following ritual: In the shower you only concentrate on one thing – on yourself! These few minutes can be unexpected energy boosters. Use a shower additive whose smell you love, feel your body, feel the water on your skin. Three properly spent minutes in the shower can have a tremendously positive effect on your day. Believe us – you really should try this point!

6. Remember the right time

The problem with people who are not punctual is that they focus on the wrong time. In the morning, for example, they think about the fact that they have to be in the office by nine o’clock. The head sets an anchor at “nine o’clock” – wrong! It is only shortly before the anchor time that you notice that none of this will work out.

via GIPHY

It would be better to concentrate on when to leave the apartment to be on time. So always remember that you have to be ready by eight thirty – then your head will set the right anchor, namely at 8:30 a.m. At 8:15 a.m. you start to get nervous because you are perhaps too close – and you still have the opportunity to counteract.

7. Plan a fixed morning break

Come to work and take a break? Sounds crazy, but it’s a good idea. In principle, the “break” is not a real time-out. Rather, it serves to plan the day through. If you rush to work and get started right away, you usually don’t have a concept for the remaining hours. It is better to take a few minutes at work to arrive and think through the other to-dos. Is that not possible in your job? Then try to do this step in the final phase of your commute to get you started.
